Villa Bologna is a place where history, craft and culinary excellence come together. Home to a family-run Italian restaurant, artisanal pottery and a stunning 18th-century villa, it has been a cherished landmark for generations.
In 2020, Sophie and Rowley Edwards went into business with family friend Jasper de Trafford, continuing Villa Bologna’s rich story of family, heritage and creativity.
The pottery, dating back to the 1920s, continues to produce handcrafted ceramics using traditional methods and the skill of local artisans, while the restaurant brings people together with fresh seasonal menus.
From strolling through the enchanting gardens to savouring Italian cuisine or discovering unique pottery, Villa Bologna offers a timeless experience that celebrates tradition and artistry.
